These are songs written and recorded by my good friend Nathan Gudzinas who left this Earth in October of 2013. Nate was a beautiful, kind, funny soul who was always fun to be around and so talented with an amazing voice, obviously, but also suffered with depression and came into contact with people who were of no good to him which is the reason he is not here anymore. The Joy, the love, the hurt, the loss and his spirit are instilled in these recordings.
I just wanted to put this out there for others to hear this amazing talent of a person that I was happy to jam and hang with many times.
He recorded these songs on 11-2, 11-3 & 12-24-2000 at his house on a Sony 4 track cassette recorder, mixed them down to a master cassette, made copies from that tape and made at least 50 copies that I know of, so there are more out there somewhere. This is from one of those copies.
I copied the original tape that I have to CD some years ago & took that CD, ran it into 2 tracks on my TASCAM MODEL 16, Re-EQ'd it, bringing the HIGHS up 25%, turned the MIDS down almost all the way, slightly brought the LOWS up & added a bit of on board Studio Reverb on the right channel and transferred that to a wave file and that is what you hear on this upload.
Listening to these songs makes me feel sad that he is gone, but happy to have known him at all in this life.
