After his guests mocked the outdated front steps, this homeowner made up his mind to revamp the entire entrance. But what they charged him for the job might surprise you.

First, the crew set the tiles using thin-set adhesive. Then, to add detail, they used smaller tiles in contrasting colors to craft a decorative border around the edge. Once all the extra grout was cleaned off, the job looked polished and complete.
