The Worthersee GTI festival has been happening on the shores of Worthersee for 37 years. What started as a group of friends getting together for a barbecue and showing off their GTIs has turned into a pilgramage for GTI fans from around the world. The festival takes place each May over three weeks. VW shows a concept or production car every year and this year it was the GTI TC-R with 290hp, a mechanical limited slip differential, upgraded brakes and a vintage inspired interior.
