Most of us that listen to Rock and/or Metal music have witnessed a change of most bands and artists in these genres... generally from heavier to lighter sounding over the years. Here is my take as to why this happens. This will be hopefully a good introduction to my upcoming series on how singers' voices change over the years and why they make certain changes to their performance and techniques as years go by.
