Doofan Kwaghhool says that “being a black African woman, there is so much responsibility. As an artist and art educator, Doofan creates socially-engaged artworks. Influenced by her experience growing up as a woman in Nigeria, the artist’s work often questions and challenges the male/female binary that she grew up with.The lockdown found our #AgoraArtist in Texas from where we chatted with her about her inspiration and influences.
