The provisional list of vehicles chosen to compete in the 2023 election has been released by the Car of the Year organization.

Since 1964, the most successful new car of the preceding year in terms of design, comfort, and safety has been honored as the Car of the Year.
The Kia EV6 introduced in 2021 was chosen as the COTY (short for Car Of The Year) winner in 2022.
For the first time, a Korean automobile received the title from the sixty journalists who represented 23 different European nations.
It's crucial to remember that the jury views a model as eligible if it's being promoted in at least five European nations before the end of the current year.
