With the purchase of SOLIDWORKS Inspection, you get two versions of the software. One version runs directly within SOLIDWORKS and will nearly automate the development of FAI, First Article Inspection, reports. The second version is a standalone application that does not require SOLIDWORKS to be installed and creates FAI reports off of PDF drawings. Combining these two will give you the ability to develop FAI reports from any drawing.
