This woman was lost in the forest one day when she came across a temple hidden away deep in the mountain. There he saw a training monk, a small temple, a hut, and a field where the monk was growing vegetables.
The monk took the woman in and took care of her. After sharing his story online, people began donating to the struggling monk. They gave him, oil, rice, salt, and warm clothes. He was grateful saying he would've run out of food in 3 months if it weren't for the donation.
They also got him new hats, clothes, and shoes, all in his favorite color, yellow. The color of his monk uniform. Which was very thoughtful.
But the strange thing is, after this visit, the woman began having good luck all over and people said that it's because she made a monk happy.
It's s superstition that if you have monks or temple happy, you get good luck. The next time the woman visited, the monk prepared a feast. A volunteer for the temple said that the monk rarely eat this good, and that it was probably the best meal he had in that year. He leaves the best for the woman's return.
Although he didn't have much to give, he decides to gift the woman his homegrown vegetables to take home.
Do you think she did the right thing? Does she deserve the blessings?
