P.S. Leo's first guitar was actually called the "broadcaster". Gretchen a drum set called the broadcaster cease and desist letter Defender regarding the title. They clipped the broadcaster name on the decal so it just says Fender. People refer to these in the short era has "no casters". The same guitar was then was rebranded as the "Telecaster" along with a one pickup version call the "Esquire" the Stratocaster didn't appear until 1954. The Gibson Les Paul proceeded the Stratocaster in 1952 but two years after the broadcaster in 1950.
