Coffee For Your Thoughts is a dark superhero fiction surrounding two brothers, Alaix and Vito. I want this story to explore sibling dynamics and struggles a today’s audience would face, such as dealing with unrealistic expectations from family, pursuing dreams, discovering identity, through a more fantastical an dark lens.

Enjoy this very ambitious project poorly executed by me: a 15 year old with no sense of time management and no budget.

On another note, I think I will be very proud of this animation. I say “I think” because I’m writing this paragraph with only 5 seconds of the first episode animated, so future me will tell you how i think it went:

I am lol, it’s taking ages, but I’m so proud of it


Also, for the purpose of submitting this for the FlipaClip OC competition as well, Vito is consuming a candy cig, he just wanted to prank his brother. (If you look closely he doesn’t even light it properly lmaooo)

Q and As

Q: wait, haven’t I seen the “give me coffee as dark as my soul” and then getting the person a glass of milk” trope thing before?
A: yes you have. This pilot episode was more of an experiment between dynamics and to learn how the heck this whole animating a show thing works, so if the script isn’t fully original, sue me. (Please don’t).
Seriously tho, tons of fanfics use this, I’m a fan animation channel despite this being an original work, this is YouTube where ppl copy each other all the time, please let this slide

Q: how long did this take?
A: I got the idea sometime around the end of August 2024, and started animating and stuff on something-teenth of September 2024, so you work this one out.

Q: what apps did you use?
A: FlipaClip, Ibis Paint X, and Capcut. I’m broke and I use mobile, this is all I got. I also used Room planner fo 3d backgrounds as a reference (:

Q: can I use/post your animation footage?
A: ok, depends what you mean by this. I’ll say this up front tho, please do not repost this for the sake of reposting. It’s up on YouTube, anyone can watch it, you can still watch it if you hate me cause I don’t earn money from this (as I have previously stated). If you’re doing a fan edit, reaction and ect. (which I doubt will happen but just in case), where you add something meaningful, then sure, you use what you gotta use, but please credit me.
Look dude, I worked hard on this, let people come to me for the actual episode, please respect my boundaries (:

If you’re here because of my usual content, let me give you a bit of an update. I’m currently working on a Life Series animatic of our boy Jimmy (​⁠@SolidarityGaming ), and then i’ll post a Dream SMP animatic of ​⁠@TommyInnit and @JackManifoldTV because I haven’t done one of those in a while. I’d also like to try making an EPIC the musical animatic, of maybe The Horse And The Infant? I think that’d be really fun!
