A compilation of every Ableton remake i have done in the past several years.
The goal with each remake was always the same: reproduce the track as authentic as possible, where possible using the same synths (in their VST equivalent) and sample sources used by the original producers, without using any samples from the track itself.
Some attempts succeeded, some not so. There are some remakes that i never completed, and some that i never posted before.
In every single case though, it was very fun and challenging to do and most importantly, it has learned me a lot about early nineties production techniques, synths, basslines, grooves, chords, stabs, you name it.
