Artist Bio: Soft Touch Mechanism emerged from the Boston music scene, founded by Atavio Spataro (Vocals) and Tony Curtis (Guitar).
After releasing their debut EP, 'A Little Crooked House', and the single "Wraith", the band solidified their lineup with Matt Dunn (Drums) and Christopher Peter (Bass, formerly of Kardashev). With this lineup, they set out to create their first full-length album, 'The Mechanism'.
'The Mechanism' marks a bold evolution in the band’s sound, diving deeper into alternative metal.
Mixed and mastered by renowned producer Jamie King, the album also features synth work composed by Eric Guenther of The Contortionist, adding a dynamic and cinematic layer to their music.
The first single, "Ingrate", debuted on December 2nd, 2024, offering listeners a powerful glimpse into the album’s evolved sound.
With their second single, "Glass", set to release on January 13th, 2025, Soft Touch Mechanism is ready to solidify their place in the alternative metal scene.
