The story of "Betul and the Season of Betrayal" is a bitter and realistic account of the life of a lonely woman who, in the midst of the storm of life, the pillar of her house collapses, leaving her alone with three children - two sick babies and a girl named Maral.

Betul is a woman of pain and silence. She had entrusted her heart with love and trust to a young engineer whose golden promises had given Betul hope for a bright future. But the one who was supposed to be her support left her without any explanation at the most difficult moment of her life, when the sick babies needed treatment and the dining room was emptier than ever.
