Andy Bell is joint Ride frontman and is famous for his use of Rickenbackers - 6 and 12 string 330's and 360's being coupled with a variety of effects. He then became the chief songwriter, composer and lead guitarist of Hurricane#1 where his best lead guitar playing can be heard. In 2000, he joined Oasis on the bass guitar for 9 years before going back to the 6 string for Beady Eye in the early 2010's. RIDE reformed in 2015 and he has been with them ever since, which is a big relief to many as Andy's best musicality and most creativity arguably reaches its full potential within RIDE.
