I love to hike. This 1.6 miles, 679 elevation listed as moderate to hard due to the slope uphill, dirt road, only 1 shade on the way up, and very hot. Water is a must. Dog friendly with leash. Paints pill to support the breast cancer awareness. Its original purpose in 1923 was for military fortification. It is on the west of the Oahu past Ko Olina to the town of Waianae. The view is one of the best.
