U.S.A.T. Liberty wreck is a II World War cargo ship, sunk in Tulamben (Bali, Indonesia). It is one of the most famous and crowed places in Indonesia, now empty due to the government restrictions on tourism. Large schools of bait fish gather around, bringing predators like big eye trevallies (some people call them jackfish), sometimes barracudas. It shelters a few potato groupers, sweetlips and bumphead parrot fishes, during the night.
This is the footage from a free-diving session in there, with a GoPro hero 7 black on a wrist mount. Watch the swimming inside the stern, the cargo room, and the encounters with fish schools and grouper.
Most free dives were cut short, for a better viewing experience. Most were below 20 metres and around 2 minutes in total. The buzz you listen sometimes, is the dive computer at the beginning and end of each dive.
