About 30 people picketed in downtown Ypsilanti Monday as part of a series of anti-Trump protests planned nationally for Presidents’ Day.The protesters gathered at noon, Feb. 17 along Michigan Avenue outside the Ypsilanti District Library’s downtown branch.
Demonstrators waved signs that blasted President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies, while also championing causes like the Pro-Palestine movement, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights and workers’ rights.
