Maybe you are used to fuzz sounds from hearing Hendrix, or maybe something sludgier like Doom metal. But fuzz has other useful properties that lend it to other more ethereal sounds when combined with other effects. In this case study I'll show you which sounds I stacked to get this warm synth sound out of my guitar without using a volume pedal or rolling in the volume knob. I hope you find it enlightening.
