Last November we joined forces with Pulotu Underworld to present Boiler Room Aotearoa: a program of indigenous Māori artists, live from Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Pulotu Underworld is a global collective that started in East London by Lady Shaka, driven by a vision to create spaces that celebrate Pacific Island culture, music, and artistry. In collaboration with Boiler Room, they’ve been curating groundbreaking events across the Pacific with full indigenous lineups, beginning with the Cook Islands and most recently Aotearoa (New Zealand). Pulotu Underworld is breaking boundaries, amplifying Pasifika voices, and indigenising the dancefloor one beat at a time.
