Aerial Footage of the Mourne Mountains in Snow in Winter 2023 - Cinematic FPV & Drone Footage - Northern Ireland

After 3 years of attempts to capture these conditions, I finally got the chance to film the spectacular Mourne Mountains with full white snow cover. We were recently treated to 2 full days of snowfall in Northern Ireland and the weather was forecast to be bright and blue on Friday 9/3/23. I headed straight for the Mournes on Friday morning with my drones and got treated to the most incredible weather. Bright blue skies and no wind at all!

This is probably the most amazing drone footage I have ever captured of the Mourne Mountains. The FPV drone footage is the first of its kind for the Mournes, especially in the snow!

This video was shot on the DJI Mavic 3 and GoPro 9 & 11 on a series of custom built FPV drones. Namely, the Aquila 7, 7 inch long range FPV drone.

I hope you enjoy the video! It really is something special. Conditions like these are really hard to come by and I am very grateful I got the opportunity to capture them.
