GET PIGMENTS:
1.) Space plucks - One of my favorite ways to use Pigments is to create what I call "Space Plucks" which are really wild and glitchy plucks with a ton of reverb added to them. I like to use envelopes and LFOs to modulate certain parameters over time so the pluck has motion and vibe as it hits the reverb. Try modulating the waveform position and fold amount with the same envelope you use to make your pluck with a short attack and long decay. Drench it in reverb and delay and space out!
2.) Evolving soundscapes - with the granular engine, harmonic engine, wavetable, and sample engine on board, Pigments can make some really gorgeous and evolving soundscapes. Combine all that with the insane amount of modulation that Pigments has always had make Pigments the perfect choice for pads and soundscapes with movement and life. Try using the "combinator" on certain parameters that make an impact on your sound such as filter cutoff, wavetable position, phase amount, anything the granular section, and even on the effects! It's literally endless.
