This video teaches Hanon Exercise 2, 2 practice techniques to help improve articulation and finger technique, and how to increase the tempo. At the end of the video, I play Hanon exercise #2 at good goal practice tempo, (once the exercise is learned well of course). Hanon exercises are a great way to improve your technique and to warm up before playing more difficult music. Also, since the Hanon exercises all have a 1 measure pattern, they are easy and quick to learn in comparison to etudes, so it is a great place to start for late elementary or beginner to early intermediate pianists.
