There HAVE been high altitude jumps without a parachute before, but usually the parachute is strapped on mid flight
But Luke wanted to take this stunt to the next level and jump, fly AND land, all without a parachute
It took Him 2 years of planning and training for this event, because the jump was 25 thousand feet freefall falling 150 miles per hour
He even had to give away oxygen mask in the middle of flight to see the destination better
But what's the destination?
The landing spot was 100 by 100 foot net, that he had to land with his back first.
That means He had to turn his body at the last second, to safely land the 2 minute freefall
