So they began to run. But the man was just concerned how they are navigating the dark on their own without any lights. So he quietly light the way with his headlight and stayed behind.
Before he knew it the road ended and he got down to tell the adult in the house, an old woman that he didn't mean any harm. The old woman knew he was a good person and invited the group to stay for dinner.
It was there that he noticed how the villager lived. The villagers stay indoor once the sun sets although the kids and adults have to come home in the dark still. The bedroom light was broken, the basketball deflated, and they have to put together several tables in order for the children to have a surface to do their homework on. In the early morning, the kids and adults have to get up to get to school or work in the dark once again. And the days repeat.
The children's parents are working in the city leaving them to be taken care of by their grandmother.
The man suddenly had a bright idea and contacted his friend and the mayor of the village. A week later, 120 lamps arrived and they installed it one by one. When the villagers realized what was going on, they were very happy.
But that's not all. The man took a day off and went to get the kids from school, he took them to get candies and hamburgers, which were definitely something they don't do often, then, he took them home and showed them inflated basketball, changed bedroom light, and new lamps. How amazing is this man?
When they light up the street lamps, the villagers cheered. Now they don't have to rush to get home, they can take a stroll after dinner, and they don't have to be confined indoors once the sun sets. They also don't have to walk to school or go to work in the dark again.
The villagers started a bonfire and they sang and danced like it was New Year's. The man was glad to help the villagers. He went from a potential kidnapper to a saint in the children's eyes.
But his job isn't done, he wants to go to other villages and help install street lamps as well.
