When I think of Matisa, I think of two words: high fashion. It's impossible to mistake her. The signature Prada glasses. The glossy boots. The only thing more Italian than her is a Vespa parked outside a pizzeria in Rome. She just has this level of coolness that I am so desperately trying to emulate but know that I can never have. Despite this, what stands out even more is her music. It's high energy and vibrant, an eclectic mix of old and new. I feel like I'm at both Cocoricò's 1989 opening party and summer 2024 at the same time. I want to give a forewarning: don't watch this set unless you're ready to dance. It's 60 full minutes of infectious grooves. And just when you think you simply can't dance anymore, she'll flash you one of her iconic smiles that brings you right back in for more.
