This is a cheap TCS34725 RGB colour sensor. We can use this to detect colours. This is similar to the TCS230 sensor, but this one works on the I square C protocol. Here you can see the pins . Only four pins needed for the interface. Here you can see the ldr sensor array and LED. the sensor array detects the reflected light, this reflected light intensity varies according to the colour. So we can analyse the reflected value and determine the colour. We need a microcontroller like arduino or esp32 to interface the sensor.
