This is a couple car review of the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade luxury full-size SUV. The Cadillac Escalade has become an icon of popular culture, known for a brash example of American luxury. The Cadillac Escalade is a body-on-frame full-size SUV based on a pickup truck chassis with a premium cabin and suspension added. This all-new Cadillac Escalade large utility is a rolling showcase for General Motors. It starts with the worlds first 38-inch curved OLED screen for the driver, which is actually three screens stretched together to produce a real show-stopping dash. The interior of the Escalade is beautifully put together with hand cut leather, and for the first time ever AKG is the stereo supplier to the Escalade, which signals a move away from Bose. The higher end stereo has 39 speakers including headrest speakers, making for crystal clear sound and plenty of power. The cabin has been made bigger, offering even more room for third-row passengers and more cargo space. The three-row Cadillac Escalade comes standard with a 6.2L V8 engine with 420hp and 460lb.-ft. of torque. Cadillac also offers a new 3.0L in-line 6-cylinder DuraMax turbo diesel with 277hp but still 460 lb.-ft. of torque. Both have the same towing rating of 8000 lbs and both have a 10-speed automatic. Styling of the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade is big and brash with huge running boards and 22-inch wheels and standard equipment. The ride is smooth and planted thanks to a new independent rear suspension, plus magnetic ride control and available air suspension. For those that need a three-row 7-passenger SUV with towing capacity, this new Cadillac Escalade is and impressive but expensive SUV.
