After doing the floor in the fireplace yesterday the stars aligned and the cement mixer arrived. It took about 90 minutes to assemble with a few instructions missing and a lot of extra bits and bobs in the bags which always makes me read and re-read the manual again, and again to see if I missed anything. Why on earth do they make the illustrations so small that you can't see any detail in them! I think I'm turning into Victor Meldrew.Happy enough with progress. Need to get all the walls prepped and plastered next week.
