Stuffed onions
Holiday dinner idea

‎‏ the filling for 4-5 onions:
‎‏• Minced meat 400 gr.
‎‏• Onion
• Finely chopped parsley, mint, coriander
‎‏• Half a cup of rice (non cooked )
‎‏• Salt and ground black pepper
‎‏• Baharat seasoning teaspoon
‎‏• Sweet paprika
‎‏• Dried oregano
‎‏• Garlic powder
‎‏• Chopped tomato
‎‏• Tablespoon of tomato paste
‎‏• Tablespoon of date syrup

‎‏📌For the sauce:
‎‏• 3 tablespoons of olive oil
‎‏• 3 tablespoons of pomegranate molasses
‎‏• Juice of a whole lemon
‎‏• Half a glass of boiling water.
‎‏• Salt and ground black pepper

‎‏📌Preparation:
Peel the large onion, cut into slices, place in an ovenproof bag, place in a heatproof bowl and microwave for 8-10 minutes.
If you don’t have microwave ,boil onions in the water till tender.
‎‏* In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients.
‎‏* Separate the leaf from the onion, fill it with meat and roll it up.
‎‏* Arrange nicely on a baking sheet, as tightly as possible.
‎‏* Mix the sauce ingredients and pour.
‎‏* Cover with damp parchment paper, then with aluminum foil.
‎‏* Place in an oven preheated to 160° for another hour and a half.
‎‏* Remove the lid and heat at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serve with pomegranate and chopped vegetables.
