A record number of voters have already cast their ballots in the US swing state of Georgia.

On the first day of early in-person voting in Georgia, more than 300,000 people cast their ballots, which shatters the record set in 2020 of around 130,000 voters.

Republican nominee Donald Trump recently held a rally in Atlanta and hit out at his Democrat rival Kamala Harris.

“Everywhere you look, under Kamala Harris, the American standard of living is in a free fall,” Mr Trump said.

Meanwhile, Ms Harris is preparing for a primetime interview on Fox News.
