Joe Meek produced pop beat with Ritchie Blackmore on guitar! Here’s a truly rare Swedish pressing with a beautiful picture sleeve of this 45 with Swedish vocalist Gunilla Thorn. She moved from Malmö to London in the early 60’s were she was discovered by Joe Meek who produced a one off 45 with her which was released in 1963 on HMV. The UK pressing is pretty rare too, but not like this PS release! Go on then is written by Meek and features Blackmore on guitar. Gunilla moved to Denmark after a year or two where she released a couple more 45’s until she quit the music biz in 1970.
