In this video I will explain why simply stacking bags of concrete that have not been mixed to build a large retaining wall might not last. The concrete can fall apart because it was not used properly or mixed and with out a solid footing and wall, could simply fall over. There's a lot of structural engineering requirements that go into designing and building most large retaining walls, which might suggest that it will take a little more than stacking concrete bags in a variety of different positions or driving rebar through them to build a long lasting retaining wall.
