Why USA is fighting in the middle east ?
In the last weeks, tens of US airstrikes were conducted inside Yemen, hitting military storage units owned by the Houthi’s which are in control of Yemen since 2014.
From the end of last year, Houthi rebels attacked a couple of commercial ships in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea. They targeted vessels which belongs to countries that support Israel, like the United States and UK.
You see, the Houthis have close ties with Hamas and Hezbollah. All these three groups being backed by Iran, the main US opponent in the Middle East.
Since the start of the conflict in Gaza, Hezbollah and Houthis have attacked the US military bases located in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria and Jordan, managing a few days ago to cause serious damage in the Tower 22 U.S. military outpost.
