"Aufwärts" is about things getting better if one is just patient enough to persevere. It's about accepting that emotions come in tides, and one can't always feel happy, and things don't work out according to plans all the time.

The title is German for "upwards" and metaphorically suggests an improvement of the current mood or situation.
