Progress through Regression is the 7th song on my album "Madness"... This song is a mix of heavy hard rock licks and doom metal. The beginning of the song is particularly doomy.

Two other songs on "Madness" are similar to this song, which is logical since this album is a complete work of art, and similarities are common.

I got inspiration for this song from Mastodon, Foo Fighters, and a little bit of Pentagram. Somehow I mixed everything together and the result was "Progress through Regression."

The album "Madness" is a musical project that really took a toll on me, but I was finally happy to share the songs with you. More songs wouldn't have been creatively possible; the ideas for a hard rock heavy album were gone.

I can't tell you whether there will be another album in this style, but if so, it will definitely be next year.
