TUESDAY BLUES #179
It's unrealistic to think that you won't make mistakes on the guitar. Making mistakes can actually be a good thing if you recognize the mistake and self-correct.
BUT...
What if you record the mistake and don't really even notice it for a decade?
That doesn't feel so good. After digging into my slide technique heavily over the last few years, I ran across a not-so-good slide lick that I recorded back in the mid-2000s.
The well intended lick was was full of bad technique. I didn't nail the notes, some of them drift on and off pitch. It's subtle but it's there and in this video, I'll let you in on this mistake and talk about ways that you can avoid this happening in your playing.
Keep it simple. Practice Smart.
Play On!
