This is a trilogy of 3 short songs/tracks from the album 'Politics Can Be Fun'. They received significant amounts of radio airplay & were released on several compilation CDs. The lyrics are inspired by a report titled ''Community Controlled Parliament/Government' which can be read at:
The short middle track contains reports regards an Australian election where the conservative Coalition parties received just 38% of the votes which won them 54% of the seats in the House of Representatives. Also of how 20% of voters voted for smaller parties or independent candidates but they won 0% of seats in the House of Reps. The electoral system seems to be rigged to heavily favour the 2 major parties. There is more about all this at:
