B: Well, I got it last year, but I’ve used it only twice. So yeah, I guess you could say it’s new.
A: It looks expensive. It must’ve cost quite a bit.
B: Actually, it was a gift. It was a farewell gift from my coworkers. Well, now my ex-coworkers.
A: Wow. That’s very thoughtful of them. They must’ve really liked you over there.
B: They were great. I made some good friends.
A: Was that here before?
B: No. We had it installed just a couple weeks ago.
A: Is it to keep trespassers out?
을/를 하기 위한 거냐?
B: No. Actually, we’ve been having issues with wild boars lately.
A: Wild boars? Really? Are they coming down from the mountains?
B: I would assume so, yes.
A: Did anybody get hurt? / Was anybody hurt?
B: No. Not yet at least. And we’re hoping to keep it that way.
A: And who pays for that?
B: My neighbors and I. We all chipped in.
A: I suppose you can’t bill the city for that…
B: We [ looked into ] that, but this whole area is all privately owned real estate. So…
[ 룩띤투 ]
A: You didn’t install the fence yourself, did you?
B: Of course not. We hired a contractor.
A: Right.. So, has it worked?
// So, is it working?
B: We’ll have to wait and see. Like I said, it’s only been a couple of weeks.
