The area behind our grand barn is fully overgrown with small trees and bushes because it hasn't been properly trimmed in decades. So, it's time to tackle this job. And we continue with the boys' bedroom; plastering the ceiling and walls are up. We also visited brocante and antiques markets in the Lot-et-Garonne and the Dordogne.

In august 2022 our family left everything behind and moved to France - not knowing where we would end up. Finally, after a difficult search, we found our home: a neglected old farmhouse. This is our story after living one year in France.

Renovating and restoring our old farmhouse, the old barns and the garden and land will take years. But in the end, it's about the journey and not the end destination. After all, you should always have something to dream about. Right?
