These speakers sounded really nice and would be great for mixes! Just not my kind of cake, as with studio monitors they have way too much treble... the bass was good but could have been better. The HS7 speakers have some really nice soft deep bass and can be quite impressive but won't hold up as good as good as many of the other monitors I've tested with loud bass. All in all, these are a great budget monitor!
