In 2015, Ashanti discussed Murder Inc's past issues with G-Unit, saying she doesn't believe the quality of their music took a dip, but that 50 convinced the world to stop supporting them as much which lead to fanfare dying down. She also talked an incident where BET booked both Murder Inc and G-Unit the same day, and the two crews ended up running into each other. Ashanti later revealed that she saw 50 at the VMAs in Las Vegas and Nelly made 50 apologize to her for their past issues, and since that night the two have been on good terms.
