One day, a man was driving down a long boring road when he spotted an old man walking alone. He looked very out of place. The road doesn't end for a while, how long was he going to walk? He stopped the car and asked the old man. The old man said that he was going to see his granddaughter. The old man had one cake in one hand and a basket in another. In the basket were peaches that he grew himself.
The old man handed 2 peaches to the young man who kindly refused. Saying it's for the girl. The man offered the old man a ride to which the old man gladly accepts. He climbed inside the car. Careful not to get the seats dirty.
When they got there, the little girl came out to greet the grandpa and the stranger. The little girl gave the man a drink of water. She grabbed the first thing she saw which was a pot. The man didn't want to refuse so he took a sip. To make the girl happy.
Later, the man returned with food he bought for the family. The family was very grateful. They invited the man to stay and celebrate the girl's birthday. They sang happy birthday to the girl and ate the cake.
The man asked the old man if he celebrates his granddaughter's birthday every year. The old man said yes. That no matter how hard, he would work hard to make sure he gives his granddaughter a good childhood. He was quite emotional when saying it. The old man wiped away some tears.
The young man, seeing this, asked the old man how the family makes money. He didn't see any father around, assuming the little girl was raised by only her mother and the grandfather. The old man told him that he grow peaches to sell. Later, the old man took the young man to see his peach field. He took a bite of a peach given and found that it was very sweet.
The young man asked the old man if he could try and help the old man sell his peaches, the old man was very grateful. Before leaving, the kind young man gave the family 2 bottles of oil and some cash. It was a couple hundred dollars. The old man tried to refuse but he stuff the cash in the old man's pocket. Just before he left the gate, the little girl ran up to him and handed the money back to him. The young man then hand the money back into the hands of the old grandpa saying please keep it for the girl's sake.
This is an amazing story of kindness, generosity, and love. Please try and be nicer to each other.
