Through all the oil fires, religious pressure you feel from your family
The death from sickness, your own self interest and selfish memories
Moments, you cant get back, You sit by the wire, get your clothes and pack
But you have to be patient, You have to be gracious, rely on the empathy, but don’t be afraid to ask, and apologise for the things you couldn’t pass.
Do all the work you’ve promised, but stay clean and honest and stop if you have to take a break
It’s ok to make a promise, but keep it godless, and find some plans to rearrange
It’s ok, to feel burdened with toil, your boss is making plenty off your back
It’s ok, to take a step back from toil, it doesn’t mean your weak or that strength is what you lack
