You know this... consistent uploading and recording thing? Yeah that thing you're supposed to do when you run a channel on Youtube? Yeaaahh... never head of it.
*AHEM* But, yes, after months of not really doing shit I finally return with some very, very minimal synthwave-ey whatever-the-fuck! My Volca FM and trusty Volca Bass are taken along for the ride here, while I finally show off the Korg DDM-110 Super Drums I've had lying around for the past year. Granted... I don't do much with it hah. But hey I thought I'd actually use it for once and this seemed like the perfect jam to stick it in for now.
TECHNICAL SHENANIGANS:
- The DDM-110 is serving as the master clock here, with a 1/8th inch to 1/4th inch cable running from the trigger out of the 110 to the Sync-In of the Volca FM. The Volca Bass is then slaved to the Volca FM via the analog sync jacks too.
-- The DDM-110 is being run through my Behringer RV-600 Reverb Machine and is friggin' DRENCHED in reverb. Because reasons.
-- All three are run through a simple mixer and then into my Tascam DR-05 for recording, which has a small amount of reverb added to the whole mix via the Tascam's internal reverb effect.
-- The whole mix is then imported into Audacity and limited slightly and that's about it!
