Time to make some beats with my Zoom ST-224 Sampletrak. As i love to do i sampled the Korg Volca Drum for some drums sounds (kick and hats) and dirty basses and synth, and the Boss Dr Rhythm DR-220 for clap and rimshot (one of the best rim sound from my machines). The resul is a dirty halftime drum and bass. I love the easyness of sampling on the ST-224, the only thing i find frunstrating is the unquantize pattern switch on the playlist mode, i can edit in post production but as usual i prefer to keep little imprecision for a natural live feel.
