The sky tore open as the colossal alien vessel descended, its core pulsing like a heartbeat. Below, the city stood frozen in silence, its people watching in awe and terror. No warning, no demand—just arrival. Tendrils of black energy stretched from the craft, touching towers like fingers claiming their prize. Lights flickered and died. A voice echoed in every mind, cold and eternal: "Your cycle ends." The invasion had no beginning, only an end. And it had already begun.
