What a week! And what a chaotic day! 😅

We kick things off with some real-life frustration: our bathroom renovation is officially on hold 🛁⛔ after the plumber fails to turn up — three days in a row. We're left scratching our heads and rethinking next steps for Katie’s long-awaited bath. 🧼🚿

Meanwhile, Scott moves the quad bike from its usual spot in the barn, and we chat about the ongoing challenge of dismantling the wood shed — a project that’s taking far longer than expected. Why? You'll find out.

To break the cycle of DIY setbacks, we head into Elgin for our weekly shop 🛒🍞, but not before taking a short detour to explore the grounds of the magnificent Elgin Cathedral. 🏰✨ Sadly, we find out the entry fee is £11 per person – quite the surprise for what we assumed was a public space. So instead, we explore the Biblical Garden, just next door — a beautiful and peaceful alternative full of meaning and natural beauty. 🌿🌸📖

Back at Kirkfell, little Kirk the kitten causes chaos by sprinting off with an entire toilet roll 🧻🐾, reminding us that some of the most memorable moments in life are the unscripted ones.
