In a bizarre future where Arrietty from the Ghibli film of the same name ends up getting from Japan all the way to Australia and befriends one of the local fairies, Crysta.
Arrietty taking a liking to the fairy as a girl of similar age and height, but with magic and the ability to fly, filled with a ton of survival and wildlife knowledge, meanwhile Crysta taking a liking to Arrietty being from the town of man even if she spent a large amount of it hiding from the humans.

Of course, being a 'Not' Fairy, Arrietty is still vulnerable to living danger, but luckily since Crysta is a respected fairy, she can bail the Japanese girl out of danger at a moments notice.
