
And I get it. That feeling is real.
But most of the time, the reason you’re stuck in that cycle is because your anxiety never gets the chance to come down on its own.
You feel the discomfort start to rise, and then without even realizing it, you jump in with a compulsion.
You ruminate.
You avoid.
You try to fix it.
You do something to interrupt it.
And in doing that, you create your own little loop.
Anxiety → compulsion → temporary relief → more anxiety → repeat.
So yeah, it makes total sense that you feel anxious all the time, because your brain’s never learning that it can survive the wave. You’re stuck in that middle zone of discomfort on a loop.
