This is a piece of electronic music suitable for a horror or suspense film, where the music builds and builds tension to a negative space climax. My passion is creating music intended to be married to visuals, and I wanted to create something that travels while staying still. I'm using the Prophet 6 module and bass guitar with eurorack processing to intersperse melodic fragments among all the ambience. The ARP-2600 has a filter that can be highly resonant, so you are hearing a lot of layering of the Moog Grandmother underneath the ARP filter. I'm also using my Everything Random patch for the Buchla Easel Command from yesterday, where I control everything by touch from the Make Noise 0-ctrl, but other than giving it a general pitch range, the 208c creates mayhem on its own. The emotion I am creating is tension and suspense, so this piece would be good for a thriller or a horror film where the violence is implied.

Buchla 208c Easel Command to Make Noise Erbeverb to 4ms Tapographic Delay (extensively used in this music) to X-Pan (controlled by Intellijel Quadrax) to Boss RC-5 looper pedal to Eventide H9
Envelope Generator to both low pass gates.
Random voltage to pitch of both oscillators, timbre, modulation, attack, decay, inverted to waveshape
Pressure to timbre and modulation
Cross modulation from oscillator 1 audio to FM of modulation oscillator.

Moog Grandmother:
Keyboard out to Rate In, Sample and Hold out to attenuverter, out to envelope in of filter. Pulses can be synced to the arpeggiator or manually controlled.

ARP-2600:
Normally patch with pulse width modulation and detuning. Lots of spring reverb.

Prophet 6:
LFO to AMP, cross modulation from Oscillator 2 to pitch of Oscillator 1. Oscillator 2 in audio range, creating that FM sound.

Bass guitar to Befaco Instrument Interface to Monsoon (mutable instruments clouds clone) to X-Pan.
